Double-Click Words Instead of click-dragging across the letters in a word to select a word, try double-clicking on the word. This can save a lot of repetitive hand and wrist movement that may lead to carpal tunnel syndrome. Double-clicking a word is also much faster and more accurate than click-dragging. Selecting the Entire URL in a Web Browser The easiest way to select all of the text in a URL is to simply click the favicon. (The favicon is the little picture that appears to the left of a URL in a browser.) Once the text is selected, save yourself some time and just start typing the new URL. The selected text will be replaced with what you type and this will save you the unnecessary step of having to explicitly delete the text before typing new text in its place.
