Computational Thinking versus Computer and Information Science.

Computer and Information Science is now a well-established discipline. The first undergraduate and graduate degrees in this discipline were developed during the 1960. Over the years, CIS had has its ups and downs in enrollment. Also, advanced placement coursework was developed at the precollege level, along with a variety of less demanding computer programming and computer science courses.
